• The LWV Education Fund is a nonpartisan nonprofit public policy educational organization
  which creates awareness of issues at local, state and national levels.

• League members study key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner,
  and disseminate their findings.

• This education component helps inform average citizens on what can be done to have an impact
  on their government.

• The Fund also enables giving young people and new citizens the knowledge of their personal role
  and responsibilities in how they can relate to government on all levels, seeking positive solutions
  to public policy issues, thus building citizen participation in the democratic process.

Donations to the Education Fund, a 501(c)(3)corporation, are fully tax-deductible where allowed by law.
