You can add a donation when you join or renew your membership (see below)
or, if you prefer to donate by check,
there are two ways to route your donation.

The first way: DONATING BY CHECK DIRECTLY TO THE LWV RIVERTOWNS:
Please make your check payable to “LWV of the Rivertowns”
 Donations to the LWVR are NOT tax-deductible, but help to cover our voter service
and continuing advocacy for core issues and other non-educational expenses,
and so are much appreciated!

The second way: If you prefer to use your donation as a tax deduction,
make it through the State League’s Education Foundation.  
Make your check out to the “League of Women Voters of New York State Education Foundation,”
and write “for LWV of the Rivertowns”  on the memo line.
Your donation will be returned in full to Rivertowns,
with the restriction that it be used for educational purposes, and it is tax-deductible.
