Annual Meeting - Saturday June 11, 2022

Dear Rivertowns Members and Friends.

I hope you will attend the Rivertowns League Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 11, at the Dobbs Ferry Historical Society’s historical Mead House.  The location is ideal for these uncertain times: the meeting will be outdoors on the spacious covered porch of the house.  Come early and tour the inside of this beautiful home, complete with many of its original furnishings.

We are delighted that one of our own members, Elizabeth Kiehner, will be our guest speaker at lunch.  She is the author of Good Girls Don’t Make History, a graphic novel that amplifies the voices of female legends: Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Sojourner Truth, Alice Paul, Ida B. Wells, Susan B. Anthony.  Liz will share stories from the lives of these inspiring historic leaders in the ongoing fight for equality.

Please do plan to join us for a few hours to relax, enjoy, and learn in a lovely setting. This is your League; come and experience it.
