On both the left and the right, with the proliferation of disinformation and toxic speech on social media, critical questions are being raised about whether the First Amendment is part of the solution for what ails today's democracy or part of the problem. America faces the daunting challenge of creating a digital information ecosystem that is vibrant and healthy while honoring and protecting the tradition of press freedom that has been central to the American experience.

Refreshments will be served. Net proceeds to benefit the LWVW Education Fund.
